[jira] Commented: (INFRA-2055) Create a new mailing list for Apache Portals Site and Administrative Commits

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-2055?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12710029#action_12710029 ]

Ate Douma commented on INFRA-2055:
----------------------------------

I'd like to correct the email address David just provided for me as moderator.
I'm using ate@douma.nu for all my other list moderations, not my apache email ate@apache.org

And, AFAIK, David is not using his apache email address for moderation either.

I'll send an email to David to check if he wants to correct his email address too.

> We have a Portals Discussion (general@portals.apache.org) list which is receiving lots of commit messages from our Portal Site documentation commits. We have been committing lots of documentation recently, and its polluting the Portals Discussion (general) list. Its been quite annoying for the users. I've seen four or five complain and unsubscribe because of it. May I request a new list for all site documentation and top level administrative commits:
> portals-commits@portals.apache.org
> Here is an example of one of the commits going to the general list:
> svn commit: r775035 - in /portals/site/jetspeed/jetspeed-2.2: pom.xml postdocs.sh
> Moderators:
> taylor@apache.org
> ate@apache.org
> Thanks
