[jira] [Commented] (CLOUDSTACK-102) INSTALL.txt needs to be updated before ASF4 relesae

Jessica Tomechak commented on CLOUDSTACK-102:
---------------------------------------------

The steps after building the code are in the updated install guide, but only for the 1st management server node. The section "Prepare and start additional management servers" still refers to CloudStack-VERSION-N-OSVERSION.tar.gz.

The steps given for the 1st node are as follows. Are these correct?

Install the Management Server on the First Host
The CloudStack Management server can be installed using either RPM or DEB packages. These packages will depend on everything you need to run the Management server.

Install on CentOS/RHEL
We start by installing the required packages:
yum install cloud-client

Install on Ubuntu
apt-get install cloud-client

> INSTALL.txt looks like it used to be a nice intro for CS, but it's significantly out of date at this point in time...
