Regarding review of NIFIREG-227

Hi Devs,

A few months ago I worked on NIFIREG-227 (
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFIREG-227)
"GitFlowPersistenceProvider option to clone repo on startup" and opened up
a PR for the same.
However, the merge request has gone stale and hasn't been reviewed yet.

It would be awesome if interested devs and committers from the community
would review it so that with necessary feedback we would be able to make
the implementation strong.
