DO NOT REPLY [Bug 48636] New: [PATCH] A configurable fallback
strategy for CIDKeyed AFP fonts
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=48636
Summary: [PATCH] A configurable fallback strategy for CIDKeyed
AFP fonts
Product: Fop
Version: 1.0dev
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: fonts
AssignedTo: fop-dev@xmlgraphics.apache.org
ReportedBy: peter.hancock@gmail.com
Font resources for CIDKeyed fonts do not always provide font metrics for all
characters, despite defining the glyph outline.
To achieve desirable layouts it maybe useful to provide fallback information
for these characters at the character or unicode block resolution.
Attached is an implementation this proposed feature.

src/java/org/apache/fop/afp/fonts/DoubleByteFont.java has been renamed to
src/java/org/apache/fop/afp/fonts/CIDKeyedFont.java and has been modified. The
original file needs deleting.
