Commit 610739ff529adc295892390294b6cfdb87f84602 got rid of the line
static inline void ignore_result(char* ignored) {}
On an unrelated note, src/posix/driver.c does have an int as a parameter to ignore_result
static inline void ignore_result(int unused_result) {
(void) unused_result;
}
