    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RANGER-219?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14492698#comment-14492698 ]

Ramesh Mani commented on RANGER-219:
------------------------------------

New release will have this feature - when multiple databases are specified, auto-complete of table will show the intersection set of tables for the databases and Even the columns autocompletion work the same way. But when * is specified in database, this doesn't bring any autocompleted table / columns.

> Project: Ranger
> Issue Type: Bug
> Affects Versions: 0.4.0, 0.4.1

>
> When defining the policy for hive resource, autocomplete for hive tables and columns is not working properly.
> If multiple databases are specified in database name then autocomplete for table is showing tables only for first database.
> Similar is in case of columns, if multiple tables are specified in table name then autocomplete for column is showing columns only for first table.
