A {{nt:folder}} node is serialised into a plain directory w/o {{.content.xml}}. When installing such a package over content that has a different nodetype on that folder will not alter it.

example:
1. install attached node-slingfolder.zip
2. observe: /tmp/testroot/a is sling:Folder
3. install attached node-ntfolder.zip
4. observe: /tmp/testroot/a is still sling:Folder

if you do it the other way around, then the content is correct
