How to get web server to see updated classes?

I am running a servlet on a Tomcat server.  However users access that application through an Apache web server.  When I use the manager application to redeploy the servlet context the behavior of the updated classes does not appear to users coming through the Apache web server.

How do I make the updated classes visible through the Apache web server?
