The source code of ApplicationMaster.java is:
@Override
public void onStartContainerError(ContainerId containerId, Throwable t) {
LOG.error("Failed to start Container " + containerId);
containers.remove(containerId);
applicationMaster.numCompletedContainers.incrementAndGet();
applicationMaster.numFailedContainers.incrementAndGet();
}
that did not tell us the real reason for start container error!
