The pom.xml has the version number incorrect - set to "0.8.0-incubator" rather than "0.8.0-incubating"
Also there the JempBox and FontBox versions are also have the same problem - but I believe there needs to be a release of those components to fix this - see PDFBOX-499 and PDFBOX-500

- I've added RELEASENOTES.txt to the trunk
- I've reorganised some of the targets of the build.xml
- I've added a target for a standalone version of pdfbox

Resolution: Fixed
As the issues described in PDFBOX499 and PDFBOX-500 will be solved with the next version of fontbox/jempbox/pdfbox (see PDFBOX-500 for further details) I set tthis issue to resolved.
