Validated this is still an issue in trunk. Patch applies cleanly to trunk and does fix the problem. 
While case sensitive queues are less than ideal, changing this behavior would cause incompatibilities in setups similar to that of the reporter.
I'm +1 on this patch to correct the existing UI behavior.
