Not Processing *.xml
I have an issue with Cocoon 1.8.2 with Apache 1.3.19 (just
upgraded to insure it wasn't a bug) and Resin 1.2.3.
I have another server with Cocoon 1.8, Apache 1.3.14 and Resin 1.2.0
where this problem doesn't exist.
Any request for a *.xml file isn't parsed by Cocoon, it's simpy
displayed in the web browser. I've checked mime types, location
of the servlet module in httpd.conf.
I can show that cocoon is working by going to
www.domain.com/servlet/org.apache.cocoon.Cocoon/Cocoon.xml .. that
displays correctly. However www.domain.com/Cocoon.xml is 404
and file.xml is displayed as if it's HTML.
This is basically a stock config...
I've tried dev versions of Cocoon also.
I can also show that it's a problem between Apache and (maybe) Cocoon
because if I go to www.domain.com:8080/page.xml, it works. 8080 is the
port of the Servlet HTTP engine.
Resin is sending *.xml to org.apache.cocoon.Cocoon with the properties
init-arg
I'm out of ideas.. I've searched the mailing lists for every component
of this
configuration. What gets me is I have basically the same thing on
another server
with the only difference being versions.. however I can't see that
version differences
would attribute to this type of behavior.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Brian
