[GitHub] [cordova-android] breautek commented on issue #769: cordova-android 8.0.0 doesn't work with Android Studio 3.4.2

breautek commented on issue #769: cordova-android 8.0.0 doesn't work with Android Studio 3.4.2
URL: https://github.com/apache/cordova-android/issues/769#issuecomment-510878491

   The error states:

   > CordovaError: Error validating project name. Project name must not begin with a number.

   `<name>4Life</name>` is illegal.

There is a discussion on this at https://github.com/apache/cordova-android/issues/584 about removing this restriction as the __package__ name must not start with a number, but there is no real reason why the __project__ name to start with a number.

You can look at https://github.com/apache/cordova-android/issues/584#issuecomment-483821460 for a workaround that you can do today.
