[jira] [Commented] (SOLR-14006) Differences in StatsComponent and JSON facet aggregations

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-14006?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16988240#comment-16988240 ]

David Smiley commented on SOLR-14006:
-------------------------------------

Bear in mind that sub-tasks are issues in their own right and get emailed out with the title but not the parent title, and thus lead to confusion. Also, just a tip, consider creating issues on-demand as you create them. Many times the list of issues you think are needed change or never get done, and it's annoying to do task add/delete (noisy on the list). A tentative TODO list could be put in the description. I'm saying all this not to insist you redo what you've done, but to consider it for the future.

> This issue is to track the difference between stats component and json facet aggregations. This would help in easier migration to json facets.
