SURVEY: Take 10 minutes to fill out the 2026 State of Open Source in Financial Services Survey from FINOS and Linux Foundation.
Hello Fineract community,
Open source software and standards are foundational to financial services.
As the industry accelerates its adoption of AI and other emerging
technologies, organizations are navigating new questions around security,
governance, collaboration, and business value.
To establish the industry benchmark for 2026, FINOS and Linux Foundation
Research, in partnership with GitHub, Scott Logic, and BrightQuery, are
conducting the 2026 State of Open Source in Financial Services Survey.
Please take 10 minutes to share your perspective on:
-
AI and emerging technology adoption
-
Cybersecurity, governance, and regulatory compliance
-
Open data, shared standards, and industry collaboration
-
The business value and impact of open source
Responses are anonymous and will be analyzed in aggregate to inform the
2026 industry report.

Thank you for sharing your expertise as it's valuable to have the
perspective of our community and those actively using open source for core
banking to be represented in this type of research.
Cheers,
Ed Cable

I’m highly in favor of this and hope Vendors in our ecosystem will
participate. Can you confirm that the Report will be available for free to
our community?
I’d like to be sure that we can share the results in list and on our
