[jira] [Created] (RANGER-530) Access-type "all" should imply rest of the permissions in Hive

Madhan Neethiraj created RANGER-530:
---------------------------------------

Summary: Access-type "all" should imply rest of the permissions in Hive
                 Key: RANGER-530
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RANGER-530
             Project: Ranger
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: plugins
    Affects Versions: 0.5.0
            Reporter: Madhan Neethiraj
            Assignee: Madhan Neethiraj
             Fix For: 0.5.0

An user being granted Hive permission type "all" on a table should be allowed to perform select/update/insert/delete operations on the table. This is the behavior of SQLStdAuthorizer.

Ranger Hive plugin should be updated to be consistent with SQLStdAuthorizer.
