How to configure Apache to serve static contents?

------- Additional Comments From grillotd@yahoo.fr 2002-02-05 10:02 -------
I have tried to do this with Apache 1.3.22 and Tomcat 4.0.2-b2 but it still
doesn't work. When I call my application directly from tomcat i have no
problems but if I pass throught Apache (same URL whithout prot 8080), my JSP
and servlet responds well but every JPG and GIF files doesn't appears and
Apache seems to be K.O. Is that the troubles you encounter ?
