[jira] [Created] (DISPATCH-747) Console does not handle correction
errors well
Jiri Danek created DISPATCH-747:
-----------------------------------
Summary: Console does not handle correction errors well
Key: DISPATCH-747
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DISPATCH-747
Project: Qpid Dispatch
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Console
Affects Versions: 0.8.0
Reporter: Jiri Danek
Attachments: test_wrong_ip__20.png, test_wrong_port__10.png
Some time ago, like several months in the past, the console used to show error message below the connection dialog. If for example I entered nonsensical port number or IP address, I would get a nice error message and I could correct my entry.
Currently, the console displays a rotating circle and lots of orange popups in the situation described.
I prefer the old behavior and would like it back.
