OpenID and SSL authentication OpenMeetings

Hello,
The State University of Campinas (UNICAMP, Brazil), is implementing
the OM virtual lectures and seminars. Today it has its own project
called http://cameraweb.unicamp.br.
The problem is that they want to authenticate with OpenID and Security
Certificate only in authentication, in a transparent way connecting
your DB users via LDAP.
I found the discussion
http://code.google.com/p/openmeetings/issues/detail?id=231 but she is
too old and so was wondering if there is already another solution?

Another issue is that they reported that the use of OM RTMPS left very
slow and blocked some features such as uploading files. I have no
details of the installation, but it happens?
