[VOTE] Woden 1.0M8 Release

Axis2 has requested a Woden release in support of its 1.4 release. It's
time to cut M8.

The Woden 1.0M8 build includes XmlSchema 1.4.1 and Axiom 1.2.6. Although
the XmlSchema and Axiom releases haven't officially been released yet the
votes for these releases are currently taking place and it looks like it's
just a matter of waiting the mandatory 72 hour period at this point. If a
rebuild is required for either of these projects Woden will rebuild and
start the voting process again.

Here are the artifacts:

http://people.apache.org/~lmandel/woden-1.0M8/

Please vote yay or nay to the Woden M8 release. The vote will run until
Tuesday, Apr. 15, 7pm EST.

Here's my +1.

Thanks,

Lawrence

Lawrence,
just to confirm discussion from the weekly Woden call on Tuesday - the W3C
WSDL 2.0 test suite is not run as part of the Woden junit test suite and
it's probably too much effort to try to integrate it. The two test suites
must be run separately. However, there is an action open against me to
improve the testing documentation on the Woden website to make this more
obvious and easier for newbies to understand how to run the W3C tests.

regards,
John.

John,

I ran the Woden test suite which I thought was automatically running the
W3C test suite. Is the W3C suite not included in the JUnit test suite?

Lawrence,
did you test against the W3C test suite? I am getting 4 failures in the
'good' test suite testing against Woden trunk. Chameleon-1G, 2G, 3G and 4G
are missing ElementDeclaration components in the Description component.
Not sure why yet, but will continue looking into it tomorrow. Let me know
if you have run OK against this test suite - I have just set up a new
development environment, so maybe I've done something wrong.

regards,
John Kaputin.

Sorry about that. As you suspected, I forgot to set the permissions on the
test-results folder to make it readable. I've now set the correct
permissions so go ahead and give it another shot anytime.
