[jira] [Commented] (SOLR-14866) Ref Guide no longer is published in PDF so doesn't need workaround

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-14866?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17195442#comment-17195442 ]

David Eric Pugh commented on SOLR-14866:
----------------------------------------

changeing from:

[cols="20,20,10,20,30",options="header"]

to

[%autowidth.spread,options="header"]

appears to have nice sane columns. One change in appearance is that it doesn't force spreading the full width of the page if it doesn't need the full width.

However, doing this does the 100% width while having sane column widths:

[%autowidth.spread,width="100%",options="header"]

I sort of wish there was a way to specify that globally, as there are 78 cases of options="header" in the .adoc files that might benefit from the combination of autowidth AND width settings!

> Ref Guide has around 22 TODO's to change table formatting with a bug in the asciidoctor-pdf library is fixed:
> TODO: Change column width to %autowidth.spread when https://github.com/asciidoctor/asciidoctor-pdf/issues/599 is fixed
> That bug is fixed, however this may be OBE since we no longer publish a PDF version anyway.
