Hi Brian,

  You wrote this on October 27th.  I'm a maven newbie, but as far as I 
can tell it hasn't happened yet.  Can you give us an update on your 
planned timeline?

  Incidentally, if you're planning to release this as "alpha-1", I 
really don't see the need for having all the i's dotted and t's 
crossed.  I'd be happy to have the thing released as-is, called alpha, 
and give you the time you need to finalize the 2.0 release.  But still 
make the thing available.

It's in the queue, we've released most of the plugins mentioned, a  
few more up for votes and the release plugin is next on the list.  
Realistically a week before I look at it myself, someone might get  
there first.
