> Spark's release packaging scripts used to live in separate repositories. Although these scripts are now part of the Spark repo, there are some patches against the old repos that are missing in Spark's copy of the script. As part of the deprecation of those other repos, we should port those changes into Spark's copy of the script. I'll open a PR to do this.
