Release 0.5 on monday?

Hi,

Looks like Cocoon 2.2.1 is being released on friday. How about delaying
Forrest until we can use it?

Then we can claim "Forrest 0.5 is a specialised Cocoon 2.2.1
distribution", and people wanting to customize Forrest with XSP or
whatever don't need to get CVS snapshots.

It will be 2.1.1. I hope after the cocoon release we can upgrade the jars
again. There is still the shutdown problem with tomcat.

As well as:

Add generator on sitemap.xmap
Add a matcher on forrest.xmap
Add a stylesheet to transform page2document
Test,test,test..

I can added to CVS but *not activate* so it makes easier to add xsp
suppport.

I can added after 0.5 release.

Please vote.

FWIW, I had a play, and enabling XSP seemed to require nothing more than
dropping in jdtcore.jar.

That is a bug to remember that we need to create an easy way to add xsp
support. Possibly XSP should be added by default on a webapp target.

XSP is not in forrest by default, but with the upgrade from the cocoon
distribution will make it easier. There is a bug already for that, but I
have not got time to get in for 0.5.

To see what has been changed check this link:

So XSP is now in Forrest by default? What's going to be included in
Forrest 0.5, sorry I've dropped out of the loop recently, so I'm not
clued up as to what's going on.

Jeff,

I thought that we wanted to leave 2 weeks after our cocoon upgrade.

Ah. I wonder if this is something peculiar to the way
forrestbot builds it. I just did a local 'forrest seed site'
and there are no problems.

Both xml-forrest and xml-forrest-template are working now, and you can see at
the top there are links like "@skinconfig.trail.link1.name@".

Please do. There is changes.html generated from status.xml
and there are the past release notes in xml-forrest/etc/

We should not release until we get these sorted. Please start and the
mailing-list can add to it.

> A few existing bugs:

It seems that the build of xml-forrest is broken at the moment, but
http://forrestbot.cocoondev.org/sites/xml-forrest-template/
does not see to show any problem with the trail links.
Please elaborate.

Would a committer on Win$ please look at these changes to .bat scripts.
They should be fixed before release.

Are there docs ready that explain the new features of this version? And
ones that explain how to upgrade? If I have time this weekend I can help
with these.

A few existing bugs:
"trail" links at top of http://forrestbot.cocoondev.org/sites/xml-forrest
FOR-48 (fix included in description)
FOR-47 (fix included)
