[jira] Closed: (DERBY-261) Document Network Client in Derby docs
[ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-261?page=all ]
Jeff Levitt closed DERBY-261:
-----------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Fix Version: 10.0.2.2
There has been no feedback on this issue, so I am closing it. However, if there are any modifications to the documentation needed for the Network Client, please open a new JIRA entry. This patch is now buried under many other newer ones, so I think it should be archived and any further changes should be in patches to the current state of the docs, so I am closing this issue.

> Tracking issue for moving documentation for the new Derby Network Client into the Derby documentation. Basing content on the Network Client functional spec:
> Discussion thread in Derby developer's list:
> Goals:
> - replace syntax, examples, and discussion about the IBM DB2 JDBC Client with corresponding information on the Derby Network Client
> - document Derby Network Client tracing and security
> - To be decided: document the alternate use of the IBM DB2 JDBC Client by showing the differences in syntax between the two drivers in a new topic in the Server and Administration Guide.
