Tomcat Automatically shuts down as service

Summary: Tomcat Automatically shuts down as service
           Product: Tomcat 3
           Version: 3.2 Final
          Platform: Other
               URL: http://www.hotgrooves.com
        OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Major
          Priority: Other
         Component: Config
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: harish@neosoftindia.com

We have Jsp,Java Bean,Java servlet, HTML pages in this Application. The site in
running in windows environment and DB2 database which is connecting to AS400
system thru T3 line remotely. Now the application is hosted in Windows NT
Server with IIS 4.0 and Jakarta Tomcat 3.2. Tomcat is running presently as a
Service in NT. The problem we are facing is the Serivce is automatically
shutting down.(which is restarting itself bcoz it is set like this). When this
shuts down for a fews seconds are restarts itself, we are loosing data. When we
used to start Tomcat mannually thru Command prompt also, this shutdown was
occuring.
The questions are
1) Why does tomcat shuts down abruptly ??
2) We have included Connection pooling (in Connection Bean)
is it bcoz of this ???
3) Is it bcoz of AS400/DB2 database connecting remotely thru T3 line ???

Thanks in Advance
Regards,
Harish
