   Partition stats pruning is already supported in the trino-hudi connector on `master`. The pruning strategy is implemented in `HudiPartitionStatsIndexSupport` (`hudi-trino-plugin/src/main/java/io/trino/plugin/hudi/query/index/HudiPartitionStatsIndexSupport.java`) and is invoked from `HudiBackgroundSplitLoader` (line ~220) via `IndexSupportFactory.createPartitionStatsIndexSupport(...)`. It is enabled by default and gated by the `partition_stats_index_enabled` session property plus the presence of the `partition_stats` partition in the metadata table.
   
   This landed with the plugin migration (#13493, HUDI-9556) and the subsequent upstream sync (#13787, HUDI-9767). Closing as completed — please reopen with a specific repro if pruning isn't kicking in for your query.
