The Accumulo Proxy is really an optional add-on to Accumulo, and does not necessarily need to be on the same release cadence as Accumulo. Additionally, it would be nice to have a separate release artifact for the proxy bindings, than to try to figure out where best to include them in the Accumulo convenience binary tarball.

We can request a new git repo easily at https://reporeq.apache.org
