[jira] [Commented] (GUACAMOLE-1018) Not showing current sessions through LDAP

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GUACAMOLE-1018?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17079770#comment-17079770 ]

Mike Jumper commented on GUACAMOLE-1018:
----------------------------------------

The LDAP extension does not provide tracking of connections: GUACAMOLE-305

If you need connection tracking and searchable history, you will need to store the relevant connections in a database, as only the database backends currently implement tracking and history.

> Have just built a guacamole 1.1.0 server with tomcat9.
> I have fully integrated it into the Active Directory schema and am creating my connections within AD:
> !image-2020-04-09-18-39-13-960.png!
> The 'Active Sessions' and 'History' tabs are completely blank, even with multiple connections are in use and many should be in the history?
> !image-2020-04-09-18-40-47-549.png|width=634,height=344!
> I am purely using LDAP authentication and no MySQL Authentication.
> When I create a connection manually through the web interface and assign it to an LDAP user, i can see the 'Active Session' and history populate as normal.
