[jira] [Created] (NIFI-13339) Make USM Users JSON content Property sensitive in ListenTrapSNMP Processor for SNMPv3 authPriv configuration
André Alves created NIFI-13339:
----------------------------------
Summary: Make USM Users JSON content Property sensitive in ListenTrapSNMP Processor for SNMPv3 authPriv configuration
Key: NIFI-13339
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-13339
Project: Apache NiFi
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Extensions
Reporter: André Alves
When the _ListenTrapSNMP_ processor is configured to use SNMPv3 with authPriv (authentication and privacy) security level and JSON content to provide USM user data, the _USM Users JSON content_ property is stored in plaintext. This property contains sensitive information, such as user credentials required for SNMPv3 communication.
To enhance security and prevent plaintext exposure of SNMPv3 credentials, it is crucial to mark the _USM Users JSON content_ property as sensitive. This change will ensure that sensitive information is appropriately protected within NiFi.
