[jira] [Updated] (DOXIATOOLS-9) Linkcheck: ability to run more than one Validator

Elliotte Rusty Harold updated DOXIATOOLS-9:
-------------------------------------------
Issue Type: New Feature (was: Improvement)

> Linkcheck: ability to run more than one Validator
> -------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: DOXIATOOLS-9
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DOXIATOOLS-9
> Project: Maven Doxia Tools
> Issue Type: New Feature
> Components: Doxia Linkcheck
> Reporter: Lukas Theussl
> Priority: Major
>
> Currently every link is checked by exactly one Validator, eg FileLinkValidator or HTTPLinkValidator. In a multiproject build some links never exist locally but only after deployment. The basedir solution is not ideal because it forces one to use absolute links. It would be better to be able to (optionally) run other validators if a specific one fails.
