Intake bug: defaultValue doesn't work

Is it just me or are defaultValue attributes specified on field elements
in intake.xml not being parsed in correctly?

DateString :-)

I am thinking that a special value might be used to allow a DateString
field to default to the current date, but defaultValue didn't seem to
work for DateString.

Hi Scott,

Depends on which fields you're talking about. I've tested with String &
Number(s) fields and they seemed to work.

Hi Scott,

Depends on which fields you're talking about. I've tested with String &
Number(s) fields and they seemed to work.
