Slow response

Hello..we are facing slow response while trying to delete
files/folders(~1 min) which are never committed to svn but reside in the
same dirs (WC) as unversioned files.
Has anyone faced a similar issue ?? Any suggestions/findings are
welcome.

Thanks!
