Re: [D] How can i run docker-compose-non-dev.yml superset in local with custom hostname and custom port instead of localhost:8088? [superset]

<!-- Answer -->
To run Superset locally on a custom hostname and port (e.g., superset-reporting-app:8888) using docker-compose-non-dev.yml:
1. Edit docker-compose-non-dev.yml and change the ports mapping for the Superset service from `8088:8088` to `8888:8088` so it reads:
```
ports:
- 8888:8088
```
This exposes Superset on port 8888 of your host machine instead of 8088 [reference](https://github.com/apache/superset/blob/829e4d92d91ceae4b43b1ed3b063ffe45377799c/docker-compose-non-dev.yml).
2. (Optional) For consistency, update the `SUPERSET_PORT` variable in `docker/.env` to `8888`, though this is only necessary if you want Superset itself to be aware of the new port [reference](https://github.com/apache/superset/blob/829e4d92d91ceae4b43b1ed3b063ffe45377799c/docker/.env).
3. To use the custom hostname `superset-reporting-app`, add this line to your local `/etc/hosts` file:
```
127.0.0.1 superset-reporting-app
```
This makes `http://superset-reporting-app:8888` resolve to your local machine.
Docker Compose itself does not handle custom hostnames for local browser access; this is managed by your system's DNS resolution. No changes are needed in the Compose file for the hostname—just the port mapping and your hosts file.
