OpenOffice Release Cycle?
Whatever happened to the OpenOffice planned release cycle of approximately 6 months? Do you guys believe that OpenOffice 4.1.1 is just about perfect?

the 6-month-cycle belonged to the old OpenOffice.org project which is
long ago. At Apache there is a different and not that fixed cycle.

Apache OpenOffice has never had a 6 months release cycle, but this time
took definitely much longer.
The good news is that is about to be shipped!
