[jira] [Commented] (REEF-1953) Allow REEF.NET in local mode to use
symlinks to data

Rogan Carr commented on REEF-1953:
----------------------------------
.NET doesn't seem to have a standard way of creating a symbolic link. Given that the solution needs to be cross-platform, at this point the implementation of this issue must not rely on the underlying operating systems.

> The REEF.NET client copies data and files around to simulate the process of running on a cluster. For running local applications, it would be much quicker to just use symbolic links rather than copy the data around.
