Apache SOAP and SSL through Apache redirection

Hello everyone,
 
I was able to set-up SSL for Tomcat and SOAP, however, I cannot set-up
SSL with redirection throught Apache to Tomcat?
I have some ideas why but I'd like to hear from if you have any extra
knowledge about this subject that I don't have?
 
Is is possible at all?
