Running mesos-slave as a non-root user.

Any adverse affects with running slaves as a generic “mesos” user/group id? 
We’re primarily using mesos for spark/hadoop jobs and I don’t think we have much use for the entitlements around act’s to restrict much. 
However I am concerned about having mesos fire off jobs as the root user.
