[jira] Created: (INFRA-1088) Send email of FTPSERVER space changes
to dev list
Send email of FTPSERVER space changes to dev list
-------------------------------------------------
Key: INFRA-1088
URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-1088
Project: Infrastructure
Issue Type: Task
Security Level: public (Regular issues)
Components: Confluence
Reporter: Niklas Gustavsson
If possible, we would like changes in the FTPSERVER space sent to the ftpserver-dev list. Preferably as they happen, but a daily summary would be okay.
I had a look around the space administration without finding an obvious way of doing this, but hopefully missed something :-)

Ted Husted closed INFRA-1088.
-----------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
We just created a role account (struts-group) and used our moderator privileges to subscribe the account to our commits@ list. The profile for the account is setup to watch the Struts space. It does have confluence-user karma, because without at least that, the system wouldn't send the alerts. We found the change-by-change reports to be so verbose as to be unhelpful, and so we do the daily summaries instead. YMMV.
I'll add this to the FAQ.

Assignee: Don Brown
Is this still a problem? Seems that other projects get these emails so there must be a way.
Assigning to Don as I'm pretty sure Struts have said emails and as a Confluence admin he may know.
