Searching for sth similiar like TortoiseSVN for Linux
Hi,
today I got first time in touch with TortoiseSVN. Great tool, nice handling,
good details, smart interface. And suddenly there was the effect: "I want to
have this tool under Linux, too." Not the bare command-line, not the
Web-Interface, but these nice giggles and goodies. Is there a chance? For
what do I have to look for?
Ciao, Georg

Have you looked at SmartSVN? Slightly different in approach from
TortiseSVN, but quite nice GUI interface. Also runs on Windows.

NaughtySVN (http://naughtysvn.tigris.org) is a similar tool like
TortoiseSVN, but its still in its early days of development. Its a
extension for Nautilus graphical shell on GNOME desktop environment.

As far as I know there are no GUIs for Linux that are anywhere near as
complete, solid, and polished as TortoiseSVN -- each has disappointed
me.
Aside from that, the only thing I know that even tries to do that
TortoiseSVN does -- namely, act as a plug-in for the native graphical
browser -- is KDEsvn (http://www.alwins-world.de/programs/kdesvn/). I
can't recommend it, though.

Hi alltogether,
thank you for your answers. I will examine all your hints and give the tools
a first try. Sounds promissing.

It's not full shell integration like Tortoise, but have a look at
RapidSVN (http://rapidsvn.tigris.org/)
