This is probably not necessary for the time being, since the only places that method is called are on the old client protocol classes, which the new client protocol won't create.

> `CachedRegionHelper` is associated with `AcceptorImpl` and seems to be used for signalling shutdown and possibly for other purposes. Integrate it with the new client-server connection and make sure we shutdown in the right situations. Look at the other methods and make new tasks if any will need to be handled later.
