The mesos slave cli option will be enhanced to support docker daemon host parameter. The new cli option will be "docker_host", taking in parameter similar to docker daemon. For e.g. if docker daemon has been started with non-default unix socket unix::///var/run/docker_mydefault.sock, the slave can be started with a similar option 

--docker_host=unix::///var/run/docker_mydefault.sock ..

The slave boot up checks for version of the docker, this will validate the correctness of the parameter.
