testing at demo site / assets in BXE

Hi all,
anyone else having problems with assets using the newest BXE release
(0.9.6) in Lenya ?

Testing on the demo site
(http://olr.kbs.uni-hannover.de:8888/default/authoring),
I can upload an asset, but there is no button for inserting it into the
document. I notice the (Lenya) GUI has changed.

Testing on my current installation, with the newest 0.9.6 BXE, I can
insert an asset but can't save, due to the BXE Validation Alert "The
attribute size is not allowed in asset". This also means existing
documents can't be edited (because a lenya:asset has the size attribute).

Any thoughts ?

Sorry for the noise, clearing the browser cache fixed it.

Thanks.

When I click the asset icon in BXE, I get

Error: bxe_ShowAssetDrawer is not defined
Source File: http://localhost:8888/bxeng/bxeLoader.js
Line: 335

in the JavaScript console.

Am I missing something?

I dunno, you have to ask your SVN master ;)

please do. at least to

http://svn.bitflux.ch/repos/bxe/tags/BXE_0_9_6/

but IMHO even better to

http://svn.bitflux.ch/repos/bxe/branches/bxe_1_0/

(My reasoning for that is in a former mail on this mailinglist)

The 1.2 branch uses 0.9.6, the 1.4 trunk uses 0.9.5.
Is this intended, or should the trunk be updated?

that is weird. trunk lenya uses bxe trunk which is 1.1.0-dev while 1.2
uses 0.9.6

0.9.5/200407042345/r745

Isn't it updated automatically when I update Lenya from SVN?

When I submit the form, I get the following javascript error:

Error: docfrag.firstChild has no properties
Source File: http://localhost:8888/bxe/js/bxeFunctions.js
Line: 1716

chregu, do I have to change something?

Should work now in 1.2-dev, I'll try to merge it to the trunk.

dc:extent holds the asset file size. If the size is displayed, the
dc:extent should be read/used.

That will certainly work, but shouldn't the size value be taken
from the <dc:extent> meta data? However - I'll add the size
attribute again.

This could be due to the fact, that BXE 0.9.6 now checks for not-allowed
attributes... It didn't that before ;)
