CVS problems?

Hi,

I'm trying to check out the avalon-* projects and I'm getting the
following:

cvs server: failed to obtain dir lock in repository
`/home/cvs/avalon-excalibur'
cvs [server aborted]: read lock failed - giving up

I can check out other apache projects, this seems to be isolated to the
avalon repos.

It is possibly because you are downloading them via ssh but you are not in the
unix group avalon. You can fix this by getting it via pserver if thats the
problem.

I just tried checking them out fresh and had no problems starting at
least. I canceled the checkout once it started though.

Are you still having troubles?
