Thanks. After editing, now I am able to build my java-files and deploy the
.war-file,
I have put all files (.page .html. application) to WEB-INF. When trying to
open http://localhost:8080/Simple/app I get the following:
Exception
javax.servlet.ServletException: Unable to parse application specification
classpath:Simple.application.
at
org.apache.tapestry.ApplicationServlet.parseApplicationSpecification(Applica
tionServlet.java:640)
[... snipped ...]
Root cause:
org.apache.tapestry.util.xml.DocumentParseException: Resource at
classpath:Simple.application does not exist.
at
org.apache.tapestry.parse.SpecificationParser.parse(SpecificationParser.java
:676)
[... snipped ...]
I guess there is still some stupid mistake in my configuration (or in my
brain?). My boss is already asking me every few seconds if I got Tapestry
working or if we have to switch to Struts ... (I don't want that, do you?)
Best regards,
Dominik

So you have to have Tapestry configured and running within some small
span of time or it will be abandoned? That's just silly.
This strikes me as some cheap ploy to try to get urgent help.
This list is fabulous at helping people, but when you try to blackmail
them with threats of "switching to Struts" you are less likely to get
the answers and help you need.
