Anshum, should we consider sending a separate email to [dev@lucene|mailto:dev@lucene] regarding the new Solr developer focused lists, i.e. [dev@solr|mailto:dev@solr], [issues@solr|mailto:issues@solr], [builds@solr|mailto:builds@solr] (and also [security@solr|mailto:security@solr], [private@solr|mailto:private@solr])? That way we can move Solr dev-related discussions to the new lists. In such an email we could also remind people about the Slack/IRC channels and mention that GIT is still at lucene but there will be a new mail when it moves.

Then, later, once [users@solr|mailto:users@solr] list is migrated, a separate mail to [solr-user@lucene|mailto:solr-user@lucene] can be more user-focused. Ideally we have the new Solr website live by then so we can point people to read more there.
