[jira] Commented: (INFRA-3394) Allow users to link Apache account with a Github account and synchronize project committers with the mirrored Github repositories

Tomaz Muraus commented on INFRA-3394:
-------------------------------------

In this case it would be great if you could disable this functionality (issues, pull requests, wiki), because currently it just causes confusion.

Maybe it would be nice if you could leave the wiki enabled, but lock it and write a page where it says "For reporting issues, etc. use Apache Jira..."

> Currently all the Apache git repositories are mirrored to Github - https://github.com/apache.
> It would be great if each Apache member could link his Apache account with his Github account.
> This would allow us to set up automatic synchronization for the Apache project committers with the mirrored Github repositories (Apache project committer would be added as a project collaborator on the Github repository).
> I think this would be useful for many projects (currently it's a bit frustrating because pull requests and issues are enabled, but we can't manage them) .
> Also, if someone can point me to the right direction I can try to help with the implementation.
