starting up in Xang

Hi,
Part of my Master's project is to install, evaluate, and learn about Xang.  Once, long ago in a far away galaxy, I found the archive list of Xang messages and found some information how to install it and use it.  I got the xang.war file but can't get it to work under tomcat 4.0.  I can't find the archive list and I don't know were to turn.  Help!
