<sarcasm>I know that it might seem "strange" but before upgrading your JVM
you need to stop Tomcat, install, and then restart it.</sarcasm>
Moreover, check if your configuration is "ok", for example JAVA_HOME
environment variable.
If you are under windows and you are using the "Monitor Tomcat" utility,
check the configuration of the JVM.

Did you set your JAVA_HOME environment variable correctly ??

I think you have not understood what I'm saying, we are facing
one problem. We have uninstall the JVM and install it again in our
production tomcat server, but the tomcat services it not working
although it is set to automatic. Please find attached the error.
From the event logs we find that the service fails with the
error "Could not load Java Virtual Machine"

You will probably have to re-install your service (not Tomcat
entirely... just the service) since Tomcat has moved. I think you can
adjust the existing service in-place, but in your case, I think you'd
better remove and re-configure the service.

Most likely - the new jvm was installed into a different directory. And
the tomcat service knows nothing about the new directory.

The easiest thing to do would be to go into the registry and find the
Tomcat service - and then change the JVM path in the registry as needed.
(I can't recall the keys at the moment to look for)
