Incubator projects are required to prominently [brand themselves as such|https://incubator.apache.org/guides/branding.html].  Right now there's no indication that the project is in incubation at all: https://ranger.incubator.apache.org/

Please see [REEF|https://reef.incubator.apache.org/] for an example of appropriate branding with logo and disclaimer.
